Hi there! I’m Autumn O’Brien. I’m a wife, mom, sister, and daughter, and I’ve always been the backbone of the family. For most of my life, I was the one everyone turned to when there was a problem, offering words of wisdom and providing the calm in the storm. However, a few years ago, my brother unexpectedly passed away, and suddenly I found myself in a different position.
I was trying to hold everything together, including my family, but I was silently falling apart. I needed help coping but I had no clue how to ask for it or even where to find it. I’m now an active user on an online grief support forum, and I’m a respite volunteer at my local Hospice.
All this to say that there are so many of us going through different things, whether it’s the loss of a loved one, addiction, mental health disorder, or divorce, and we tend to suffer silently. I want to help you find the support you need, and I hope this site can be your guiding light.
